10"x 16" aluminum hydraulic chamber
Amalco created this deep drawn aluminum
hydraulic chamber using CNC machining, attaining tolerance of ± .003 on all dimensions. The machined part was dip brazed, anodized, and x-rayed.

A swimming pool entry systems manufacturer was looking for a better process. Their original product made of steel and fiberglass meant dealing with multiple suppliers, costly materials, and difficult assembly.
Horizon Plastics created the product using structural foam, with all the parts (up to 27 pieces) molded at the same time on a single machine. The parts are then retail packed on line.

An industrial safety harnesses manufacturer needed an improved sayflink, a moveable device attached to a safety cable to prevent workers from falling. Their original three-piece assembly required machining, stamping, forming, and welding.
